Norway Maple Crimson King Supply & Installation

The Crimson King is a beautiful 5 lobed shiny purple-leaved tree that can grow to 15 metres tall when mature. It has smooth dark-grey bark and forms a broad conical crown.

With the exception of peaty soil, the Crimson King tree can be planted all soil substrates. They can successfully be planted as avenue and street trees in industrial locations.

Yellow flowers appear in April before leave shoot. Fruit is brown winged nutlets. Leaf autumn colour is orange.

Soils

Crimson King is undemanding and tolerates most soil types. It is extremely tolerant of dry conditions.

Crimson King likes full sun but will tolerate partial shade.
