Characteristics

The Drummondii forms a wide, pyramid shaped crown that becomes rounded in maturity. It is an undemanding tree that can be planted in most locations. Drummondii is wind and heat tolerant.

The Drummondii is a stunningly, beautiful tree that grows to 8 metres tall when mature. It has smooth dark-grey bark and forms a broad pyramidal crown that becomes round with age.

The variegated leaves of the Drummondii are light-green and creamy-yellow in colour. Autumn leaf colour is yellow.

With the exception of peaty soil, the Drummondii tree can be planted into all soil substrates. Its beautiful foliage makes it a success when planted as an individual specimen tree or as an avenue or street tree.

Attractive yellow flowers appear in April before leaves shoot. Fruit is brown winged nutlets.
