False acacia also known as the black locust is one of the heaviest nectar and sugar producing trees for insects. Their flowers are sometimes used to flavour wine. Fragrant, scented, creamy-white pendulous flower clusters, bloom in June and are followed by reddish-brown, flat leathery pods that remain on the tree over the winter months.

Hortlands guarantees the living products have been grown, prepared for delivery, and correctly cared for prior to transporting and installation. Hortlands guarantees its landscape teams will handle, transport and if applicable plant / install living products to high horticultural and industry standards.
