This planting project was carried out by our tree installation team at Bourton Hall, a beautiful Georgian mansion house located in 12 acres of gardens, woodlands and meadows in Bourton on Dunsmore, near Rugby in Warwickshire.

The location had recently been purchased and was being re-furbished into a wedding venue.

Our objective and responsibility were to screen-off a distant neighboring property and to produce a leafy back-drop along the boundary behind a picturesque water feature, a very important featured, positioned to produce an emotional and dramatic atmosphere for wedding photography.

To do this we planted 7-metre-tall hornbeam trees, carefully spaced to achieve the remit and to be in leaf during the busy spring and summer months of the business.

To welcome the visitors to Bourton Hall we also planted a stunning 7-metre-tall sweet gum tree in a verge near to the entrance gates. This tree being a favourite of the owners and always included in all of their wedding venues.
