The Norway maple is a strong medium sized deciduous tree.
Drummondii is undemanding and tolerates most soil types. It is extremely tolerant of dry conditions.
Drummondii likes full sun but will tolerate partial shade.

Undemanding but avoid strong acidic pH soils.
The Norway Maple has a shallow, cordate root system with many fibrous roots.
Drummondii is very adaptable.
Only prune dead or damaged branches during winter, otherwise leave alone.
Drummondii forms a pyramid shaped crown, and can be planted in most locations. It is wind and heat tolerant.
