Have a demanding situation for a hedge plant? look no further than hornbeam, an attractive formal hedge that can cope with almost any demanding situation. Hornbeam hedges excel in moist, heavy clay soils and can be situated in sun or shade locations.

Leaves are deciduous and can, like beech leaves, remain on the hedge through the winter months. Autumn leaf colour is yellow-orange.
