New home constructed on land near Winchester, Hampshire. The grounds were surveyed, designed and a schedule of work put into place. With the construction work on going, a limited time for accessing some areas of planting meant that we would have to carry out the work in phases. Some areas were accessed using our Avant telescopic handler and the sites resident Manitou telescopic handler to carry the plants in.
Some locations were much harder to reach so we brought in a crane to lift the plants. Semi-mature beech (Fagus sylvatica) trees were safely secured by our team.
These beech (Fagus sylvatica), trees weighed 2,500kg.
Other plants were lifted into place, including these 4.5-metre-high beech (Fagus sylvatica), instant hedging elements that we used to create a privacy screen from the neighbouring building.
