Horse friendly Instant hedge required for a paddock in Horsmonden, Kent
Our customer asked us if we could supply and plant an evergreen instant hedge to screen their paddock that housed their horses, from a neighbours business premises and a near-by busy road. Now this isn’t usually a problem, as there are many deciduous plants that are safe for horses to eat, but not many evergreen plants, and the customer insisted that the hedge must screen the paddock all year round… so an evergreen it had to be.
We made a visit to the site, checked the soil, the planting location and also looked at plants that were surviving and flourishing locally and the answer was made for us; we decided to use our Bay (Laurus nobilis) individual hedging plants from our selection of horse friendly trees and plants.
The instant hedge we supplied and planted worked perfectly.
